How EUMERA GmbH handles personal data on this website.

Last updated: 28 September 2026

Controller

The controller within the meaning of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is EUMERA GmbH, Sterngasse 3/2/6, 1010 Vienna, Austria, office@eumera.eu.

This website is an informational site. It has no user accounts and no newsletter, and its only form is on the RRM-Community page; personal data is processed only to the minimal extent described below.

Hosting

This website is operated on the infrastructure of an external hosting provider. When you access the site, the web server automatically processes technical connection data — in particular the IP address, date and time of the request, the requested resource and the browser identification — to deliver the pages, ensure stability and defend against attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure and reliable operation of the website (Art 6(1)(f) GDPR).

The hosting provider may process this data on servers outside the European Economic Area. Transfers are safeguarded by the EU standard contractual clauses and the provider’s certification under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework; further information is available on request at office@eumera.eu.

Analytics

We measure visits and page performance with our hosting provider’s privacy-friendly analytics service, in aggregate form only. It sets no cookies and does not track visitors across websites; visitors are counted by means of a short-lived hash that does not allow persistent identification. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the use of the website (Art 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Cookies

This website sets a single functional cookie, which stores your language selection so that the site opens in the same language on your next visit. It is a technically necessary cookie within the meaning of §165(3) of the Austrian Telecommunications Act (TKG 2021) and therefore requires no consent. No advertising cookies are used. Third-party cookies may only be set if you play the video on the RRM-Community page (see “YouTube videos”).

Contact by email and form

If you contact us by email or telephone, we process the data you provide — contact details and the content of your message — to handle your enquiry and any follow-up questions (Art 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). We retain this correspondence for as long as the matter requires and as long as statutory retention obligations apply.

The RRM-Community page includes a form for joining the EUMERA-RRM Community. The data you enter — name, company details, contact details and your proposal — reaches us by email through an email delivery provider that acts as our processor (Art 28 GDPR) and is based in the United States; the transfer relies on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses (Art 46(2)(c) GDPR). We do not store this data in any database: we handle it like any other correspondence, as described in the previous paragraph.

YouTube videos

The RRM-Community page includes a video hosted on YouTube, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. As long as you do not play it, the page makes no connection to YouTube: the image shown in its place is served from this domain.

Only when you press the play button is the player loaded, in YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). From that moment on, your IP address, the page from which you play the video and technical data about your browser, among other data, are transmitted to Google, and YouTube may store information on your device. Google may also process this data in the United States; Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

The legal basis is your consent, which you give by starting playback (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and §165(3) TKG 2021). If you do not want data to be transmitted to Google, simply do not play the video. Further information is available in Google’s privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection with regard to your personal data. To exercise these rights, write to office@eumera.eu.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The competent authority in Austria is the Datenschutzbehörde, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, dsb.gv.at.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy when the website or the legal situation changes. The applicable version is always the one published on this page.
