The project
A key port hub and one of the country’s leading energy centres
EUMERA GmbH is promoting this innovative solution in Argentina for the 650 km strategic corridor between the port of Bahía Blanca (Buenos Aires) and Vaca Muerta (Neuquén).
Its implementation will transform bidirectional freight transport, strengthen the link between a key port hub and one of the country’s leading energy centres, and create a logistics platform that is more efficient, more competitive and ready for growth.

Typical train formation
Complete trucks, on rail wagons

Stage 01 · Loading
Complete trucks drive onto the low-floor wagons.
Stage 02 · Journey
The locomotive hauls the train; the driver travels on board, in the escort coach.
Stage 03 · Unloading
At destination, the trucks roll off the train and continue by road.

Rolling Road Model (RRM)
This solution, called the “Rolling Road Model (RRM)”, is based on the proven rail service already operating in Europe.
Adapted to the Argentine context, the RRM will offer economic, operational and strategic advantages, with the potential to reduce logistics costs, expand transport capacity and raise the competitiveness of the corridor’s entire value chain.
